Terms of Use

By using Elmejáték, you accept the following terms. Please read them carefully.
1. The service provider

2. The service
Elmejáték is an installable web application used from the browser that provides cognitive exercises, a daily training plan, thinking exercises (You First) and progress tracking.
The service is currently under development; features may change without prior notice.
3. Not a medical device
Elmejáték is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any disease, and it is no substitute for examination by a medical specialist.
If you experience persistently worsening memory, attention or other cognitive symptoms, please see a doctor.
The values measured in the games cannot be compared with clinical norms.
4. User account
You must keep the password for your account confidential. You are responsible for the activity carried out in your account.
You may use the service if you are 16 or older.
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time in Settings.
5. Expected conduct
It is prohibited to use the service in a way that disrupts its operation (e.g. with automated mass requests), to access another person's account, or to circumvent the security of the system.
6. Intellectual property
The application, the games, the texts and the graphics are the intellectual property of the service provider, except for third-party open-licence components (listed in the “About and licences” section of the settings).
The journal entries you write are yours.
7. Liability
The service is provided “as is”. We strive for continuous, error-free operation, but cannot guarantee it.
To the extent permitted by law, the service provider is not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of the service. [TO BE COMPLETED] (the exact wording of the limitation of liability should be finalised with a lawyer).
8. Fees
The service is currently free of charge. We will inform you in advance before introducing any paid features.
9. Amendments and governing law
We may amend these terms; we will notify you in advance of any material changes.
These terms are governed by Hungarian law. In a consumer dispute, you may also turn to the conciliation body (békéltető testület) competent for your place of residence.
